Here's some more information on 1) Graywater Health, and 2) Permits. 
Please pass this on to your commissioners and staff.


Graywater Health

I realized that the greywater data and calculations spreadsheet is 
not very accessible in the material I sent.

Here it is in PDF, on the back of a cover letter for HCD that 
discusses the significance of the data.

These numbers have been in circulation for several months amongst all 
stakeholders, and have been pretty thoroughly examined.

In response to questions, I've gathered copies of the original survey 
establishing the prevalence of greywater use, the forms used by CDC 
to track waterborne disease outbreaks, etc. etc. Much of this 
material is available by clicking on links in the spreadsheet that I 
sent earlier, and I have other, recently gathered material that I can 
provide on request.

In contrast, there is little substance to the theory that greywater 
constitutes a health threat on par with that of combined wastewater.

In particular, the absence of any reported greywater transmission of 
infection in several decades of tracking contrasts sharply with the 
number of instances of infection from failing sewers, septics, 
swimming pools, ornamental fountains, lightning strikes, etc. etc.



Permits

Reasons to allow simple systems that meet standards, without 
requiring a permit are part of the same attachment.
