Everyone -

I just got off the phone with Doug Hensel at DHCD and he reminded me that
next Monday really is the last day for public comments.  They want to move
this code forward with the triennial adoption of the entire plumbing code.
He said they have received significant commentary on every section in the
code, and are making serious changes as needed.  We discussed some of them,
and they are.

One great thing DHCD is doing is separating drip irrigation from disposal,
so both types of systems can be found in the code.  

If you know somebody who wants a quick but thorough education on the code
and the needed improvements in time to submit their own comment letter, we
might still have time to arrange a teleconference for such people to
participate in.  Please let me know what times tomorrow or Saturday work for
you.
